Phil Bright – General Manager/InstructorPhil was a Long Reach High School 00’ baseball player for four years while teaching fielding and hitting at Fairland Baseball camp from 1998 to 2002. While at Rutgers University he played Club Baseball for four years and led the team to a North Atlantic East Division Championship in 2004. Phil now plays slow-pitch softball for multiple leagues and tournaments as well as being coach of the Paperboys Co-Ed Softball team. After six years and 10 seasons they have won five league titles and two tournament championship including the 2007 Mixed E State Title earning him tournament CO-MVP and All Tournament Team Honors. |

Jason Hessler – Assistant Manager/InstructorJason played high school baseball for Springbrook in Silver Spring, and won team MVP in 2003 and 2004. He also was named to the All Gazette team and honorable mention for All Met in 2004. Jason went on to play college ball at St. Joseph's University where he was a standout pitcher. In 2006 he led the team in Strikeouts, Wins and Innings Pitched. He went on to play in the Cape Cod league with the Harwich Mariners. In 2007 Jason was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. Due to shoulder injury Jason has not been able to continue his career, but is excited to pass his knowledge on to younger players. Jason is available to teach hitting, pitching, and fielding. |

Mike Perhach – Extra Innings InstructorMike played high school baseball at national powerhouse Dematha and went on to play at Salisbury State and High Point University for four years. Mike was an instructor in hitting and fielding for ten years at Fairland Baseball Camp including time as Assistant Director. Mike’s coaching resume includes multiple division titles throughout his career as assistant coach of the Dematha League Travel Team, three years assistant coach at Wild Lake HS, and coaching the Columbia Reds. Mike now offers lessons at Extra Innings. |

Paul J. O’Brien, Jr. – Extra Innings InstructorPaul has been coaching softball for nine years on teams ranging from 12U to high school. Throughout eight years of coaching high school softball Paul has a 133-57 record and has sent 14 of his 28 alumnae to play collegiate softball. Paul ‘s high school teams have reached the Maryland State Private School Championship Tournament Final game five times in the last seven years winning two titles as well as three regular season championships. Paul has been teaching offensive and defensive softball skills at camps and clinics for the past 13 years, specializing in speed game batting skills, and now instructs lessons and clinics at Extra Innings. |

Chris Fulda – Extra Innings InstructorChris caught for 4 seasons at Seton Hall University, graduating in 2004 and being named to the Big East Academic All-Star Team. Chris spent time in the Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies organizations, playing his final professional season with the triple A Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Chris still plays Baseball today with the Semi-Pro Frederick Flying Dogs. He is available as an instructor in Catching, Pitching, and Hitting at Extra Innings. |

Tonja Braxton – Extra Innings InstructorTonja Braxton is currently the head coach of the Howard University softball team. Tonja brings with her years of Collegiate coaching experience. In her seven seasons at Bowie State, her teams were a combined 126 - 82. In 2007 She coached Howard University to a MEAC title, and their first ever NCAA tournament appearance. As a player for Bowie State, Tonja was a pitcher, left fielder, and played third base. In 1993 Bowie State named her the female Athlete of the year. Tonja is available at Extra Innings to teach Pitching, Fielding and Hitting. |
